(The NPD Group's Distributor Track sales database is comprised primarily of U.S. Global Technology Distribution Council members.) Some categories might appear to have surprising winners, which could be attributed to the fact that some vendors have many SKUs for a similar product, while others offer only a few SKUs, which helps boost sales for that more common SKU.
