Dell Delivers New Commercial Products

Dell took the wraps off new products and refreshed devices -- including a 2-in-1 as part of the Latitude 11 5000 series and an UltraSharp 27-inch InfinityEdge monitor -- at CES 2016 on Wednesday.

In addition to new products, Dell refreshed its existing product lines with Microsoft's new Windows 10 operating system and Intel's sixth-generation Skylake processors. Dell has yet to release the pricing and availability of its newest products.

"We're seeing a bunch of products that have very different form factors in the mobile space," Raza Haider, executive director of Dell's Commercial PC Product Group, told CRN. "We're being deliberate with our materials, form factors and finish in our new commercial and consumer products."

Following are five new and refreshed products that Dell unveiled during the Consumer Electronics Show.

New Latitude 11 5000 2-in-1

Dell revealed the specs of its new 2-in-1 as part of the Latitude 5000 Series. The brand-new Latitude 11 5000 Series 2-in-1 is built with premium materials such as Corning Concore Glass, and has a 1,920 by 1,080 resolution, 10.8-inch display.

This 2-in-1 runs on the Windows 10 operating system, and includes USB Type-C connectivity for docking, power and data. The product comes in two models -- with the option of packing Intel's Core m3-6Y30 processor, which clocks up to 2.20 GHz, or the Intel Core m5-6Y57 processor, which clocks up to 280 GHz with vPro. In addition, Dell offers two keyboard options for its 2-in-1.

Refreshed Latitude 5000 Series

Dell unveiled new refreshed models of its Latitude 5000 series at CES, including the Latitude 12, 14 and 15 models with Intel's new sixth-generation processors and Microsoft's Windows 10 operating system.

All three models were also upgraded to include carbon fiber polymer materials for added durability and an optional touch-screen Corning Gorilla NBT display, as well as new features like M.2 solid state drives and DDR4 memory and business-ready ports.

Latitude 7000 12 and 13 UltraBook Refreshes

Dell refreshed two models in its popular Latitude 7000 Ultrabook series, to run on Microsoft's new Windows 10 operating system and pack Intel's new sixth-generation Core M processors.

On top of the new OS and processor offering, the 12.5-inch Latitude 12 7000 model was upgraded to flaunt an innovative 2-in-1 form factor design.
