The new multi-function monochrome printers come in four models priced from $1,199 for the basic MX721 desktop that produces 65 pages per minute, to $3,999 for the floor-standing MX826 which has a 10-inch touch screen and 1,200 page capacity. Lexmark is claiming a first in this class of product as well with the MX725, which is built for vinyl and narrow media, and offers a top print speed of 55 pages per minute. The top of the line machines can be equipped with a hard drive and a single-pass duplex scanner capable to inputting documents at 150 pages per minute.
