Gigabyte R292-4S1

The R292-4S1 is a 2U quad-socket rack server that supports Intel‘s second-generation Optane Persistent Memory and up to 112 cores with four third-generation Xeon Scalable processors. Each processor socket has direct connection to two PCIe 3.0 x16 slots, allowing the server to support a total of eight half-length cards or four double-slot cards for acceleration or I/O. With 48 DIMM slots, the server supports up to 64 GB for RDIMM modules and up to 128 GB for LRDIMM modules in addition to the Optane modules that can go up to 512 GB. On the storage side, the server comes with 10 2.5“ hot-swap bays for NVMe, SAS or SATA drives. The server also comes with one M.2 PCIe 3.0 slot, one OCP 3.0 mezzanine slot in the front side and dual 10 Gb/s LAN ports.
