The HyperScale appliance includes compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and back-up and recovery capabilities, as well as data management and analytics. The company says the platform allows customers to "significantly decrease" complexity and cost. The solution is also being billed as a time saver because it's pre-designed, built and supported by Commvault, meaning customers don't have to spend so much time on buying hardware and system installation, integration, management and updates. Commvault says the appliance, which comes with capacity of 32TB to 80TB, is ideal for managing data across multiple remote or branch offices and data centers.
