Customers looking to buy the software-only version of Commvault HyperScale can deploy it on Cisco, Dell EMC, Fujitsu, Huawei, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Lenovo or Supermicro systems. The company says customers can use their own hardware preferences and can choose the size and configuration of hardware models. Matching customers' hardware configurations and capacity to their secondary storage needs allows enterprises to accelerate ROI, reduce complexity and improve customer value, Commvault says.
