For the latest updates to the Unity all-flash midrange array, Dell EMC released four models that take advantage of new CPU and memory capabilities. They offer 16 times the storage density, with up to 80 15.3-TB SSDs, and a 30 percent performance improvement over the previous generation.

NETAPP FAS2650

Finalist

NetApp's FAS2650, a hybrid flash system aimed at small enterprises and midsize businesses, features a major boost to speed, responsiveness and capacity -- thanks in part to its ability to integrate NetApp's NVMe-based Flash Cache intelligent caching capabilities.

NEXSAN NEXT-GENERATION UNITY

Finalist

Nexsan's recently released version of Unity provides performance improvements of as much as 40 percent, thanks in part to leveraging Intel's Xeon Processor E5 v4 and increased memory. The latest Nexsan Unity also includes more-flexible configurations with Server Message Block 3.0 support.

TEGILE T4600

Finalist

Tegile Systems' T4600 flash-driven storage array includes a variety of persistent memory options along with improved performance and density. The T4600 also offers access to Tegile's cloud-based IntelliCare Operations Center, for easier storage and management of data across persistent memory classes.
