Mission ‘Accomplished:’ Welcome To Nutanix’s New Partner Program

Nutanix is changing the way it interacts and incentivizes channel partners across the globe with the launch of its new Elevate Partner Program.

The San Jose, Calif.-based company is changing how internal sales reps collaborate with partners on deals and how incentives and rebates are distributed. It also has unveiled a new partner portal and deal registration process. Overall, Nutanix is shifting how it wants partners to sell, train and go to market with Nutanix to maximize profitability.

“When we set out to do this, I made the objective very clear: simplification of our current partner program,” Christian Alvarez, Nutanix’s global channel chief, told CRN. “It was previously 33 pages and had over 190 different elements. I wanted a partner program that is two pages or less, has less than 25 elements, and it can be explained to an existing or a future partner in seven minutes or less. We’ve accomplished that.”

Alvarez breaks down everything partners need to know about Nutanix’s new global Elevate Partner Program including the creation of a new Americas Partner Support Center.

“This solidifies our commitment in the channel. This is a bold move and a very significant investment into our existing and future partners,” said Alvarez. “Why wouldn’t you want to partner with Nutanix after this?”
