Emerging Data Center Vendors To Know In 2020

As part of CRN’s Emerging Vendors for 2020, here are nine hot data center startups, founded in 2014 or later, that solution providers should be aware of.

The New Generation Of Data Center Companies

Pundits once predicted that with the advent of cloud computing, data centers would become a thing of the past. It didn’t quite happen that way: While many IT workloads and processes have been shifted to cloud platforms, data centers live on.

But today’s data centers are more complex and more challenging to manage. They are often more distributed with central systems connecting to cloud systems, branch offices, IoT networks and even “edge” modular data systems. Data center components may be virtualized, software-defined and/or running in containers.

It’s no wonder IT managers are looking to solution providers and IT vendors for help. That includes startups developing leading-edge hardware and software products for building and managing next-generation data centers.

As part of CRN’s Emerging Vendors for 2020, here are nine hot data center startups, founded in 2014 or later, that solution providers should be aware of.
