The Starting Line

Two IoT solution providers asked an audience of VAR, MSP, and agent partners if anyone in the audience was making money with IoT. Not one partner raised their hands during a session at Channel Partners Expo 2018 in Philadelphia.

The IoT opportunity will exceed $1 trillion by 2025, meaning there are a lot of devices that need to be connected. Someone has to sell IoT, and it might as well be the channel, since partners already have account control into these companies, according to the two solution providers leading the session that are paving the way with their own IoT practices.
