Cloud business application provider Intermedia is hiring dozens of salespeople and launching field sales and sales engineering practices with the goal of doubling the company's revenue within four years.

Eric Martorano, Intermedia's senior vice president of worldwide sales, spoke with CRN about why the Mountain View, Calif.-based company, No. 189 on the 2016 CRN Solution Provider 500, needs to expand beyond inside account management and the rationale for expanding the company's business insights and strategies unit.
