Continuum CEO Michael George has put his money down and he is letting it all ride on security.

“Everything we’re leaning into is a bet-the-company strategy around security,” he said.

George took a break from Continuum’s Navigate 2018 in Boston to talk with CRN about what he sees as a major disruption coming in the MSP market.

George predicts that within the next 2 to 3 years MSPs will be divided by a security skills gap that will leave those without high-end capabilities fighting for the small end of the market, while a small percentage at the top who possess a fully stocked cyber defense arsenal, will share the richest portion.

Continuum, he said, can help MSPs stay on top of the market. But it’s not going to come free.

“We’re the only company that can solve that problem for the MSP,” he said. “If you look at the surface price, we’re 20 times more than our competitors, until you add labor to the product, and then we’re 20 times cheaper.”
