The Money Will Follow Security

“Security is the catalyst to cause a massive, disruptive transformation in this business. In the next two to three years, it is going to shake out that 80-percent of the revenue generated from IT managed service is going to be garnered by 20-percent of the providers. And really, closer to 5-percent, of them. There are going to be about 2,000 MSPs across the country that really, really matter. And then it pyramids down. That means 80-percent of the providers are going to be fighting over 20 percent of the revenue. It’s called the Pareto principle.”

“All 40,000 of them, they range today from $1 million in revenue to $15 million in revenue. And three years from now, they’re going to be $1 million in revenue and a $100 million in revenue. It is just going to separate. It’s going to change exponentially.”
