The Fastest Growing Services Offered By MSPs In 2022

We asked MSPs on this year’s Managed Service Provider 500 list to tell us what services are seeing the most growth in demand from their clients this year. Here’s what some of them had to say.

The Service Economy

Because Managed Service Providers work closely with their clients to meet their rapidly evolving IT needs, a check of the technologies and services customers are demanding from MSPs provides a glimpse into where IT needs are heading.

As part of the 2022 MSP 500 project, CRN asked managed service providers to tell us which are the fastest growing services they offer.

Not surprisingly, many MSPs cited various cybersecurity products and services as topping the most-in-demand list, including Security Operations Center (SOC), managed and extended detection and response, zero trust security, dark web monitoring and virtual CISO, among others.

MSPs are also seeing heightened demand for services and expertise around Microsoft Office 365, VMware Cloud, robotic process automation, digital transformation, custom software development, workflow automation, and software-defined data centers, to name a few.
