15 Glimpses Of New HP Notebooks For Businesses, Consumers

The New HP Notebooks

This week, HP unveiled updates to three existing consumer notebook product lines -- the Pavilion dv4, HP Envy 14 and HP Mini 210-- as well as three new business oriented HP notebooks -- the EliteBook 2560p and 2760p and ProBook 5330m. All are designed for portability, but they're also visually appealing even when powered down.

The "consumerization of IT" trend is evident in the new lineup. For example, HP has included its Beats Audio package, which was previously found only on consumer models, in the ProBook 5330m business laptop. HP also rolled out a striking new business display for mobile workers, the Elite L2201x, which features a 21.5 inch screen and is just 0.4 inches in thickness. HP, in partnership with Sprint, is also offering EliteBook customers prepaid mobile broadband packages, with prices ranging from $5 for 75 MB over a five hour period to $30 for 1 GB over a 30 day period. HP's new EliteBooks come with integrated 3G modems. Following are glimpses of HPs new notebooks and display, along with information on product features, pricing and availability.
