Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference – where the Cupertino, Calif.-based company often shows off the newest features of its software to developers—kicks off Monday.
While Apple typically shows off new upgrades to its popular mobile and desktop software, iOS and Mac OS X, respectively, the company sometimes surprises partners with a new product or service announcement. Apple has already revealed one important App Store service announcement — it will give developers of subscription-based apps a bigger chunk of revenue after subscribers have paid for a year or more. The company is expected to unveil more innovative features – mostly surrounding its voice-enabled assistant, Siri, during the WWDC.
