As a top maker of PCs for businesspeople, Lenovo was unlikely to sit by and watch Microsoft dominate one of the newer trends in computing, the growing convertible tablet/laptop market, with the Surface Pro line. One of Lenovo's other biggest pushes to date is around the new X1 line of devices -- including the convertible ThinkPad X1 Tablet.
