Getting Their Groove Back

Samsung was on a roll this year with the Galaxy S7 selling much better than its predecessor, the S6. The back-to-back disasters around the Galaxy Note7 -- which was prone to catching fire both in its original and replacement versions -- has halted that momentum, however. Now all eyes are turning toward what Samsung does next, particularly around its presumed Galaxy S8 in early 2017. And the CRN Test Center believes the opportunity is there for Samsung to still get something out of its advancements with the Note7 by transferring some of the novel features over to the Galaxy S8. Or more likely, to the larger-screened S8 Edge. What follows are four of the Galaxy Note7 features that Samsung may want to consider putting into the Galaxy S8 Edge next year.
