5 Reasons The iPhone 8 Is A Worthy Upgrade
Kyle Alspach
Battery Life
Overall I was pretty content with my iPhone 6S -- with battery life being the biggest exception. Particularly after the upgrade to iOS 10, my 6S began to drain quickly even from non-intensive use and rarely lasted a full workday without needing to charge up at some point. The iPhone 8 is a big step up on battery life. While it may be less evident to users coming from the iPhone 7, the 8 -- perhaps partly due to the new A11 processor -- has been highly efficient on energy in my experience so far. After heavy usage for seven hours yesterday, for instance, the battery life still remained at 70 percent.
