While Samsung's Galaxy S9+ features a huge amount of screen space with its 6.2-inch display, Apple tops that with the 6.5-inch iPhone XS Max. Both devices have small bezels around the display for a nearly edge-to-edge design. However, only the iPhone XS Max needs room for a camera notch at the top of the screen. Both also feature OLED technology for an ultra-vibrant display, though the S9+ features a higher-res screen at 2,960 x 1,440 resolution, or 529 pixels per inch (ppi). The iPhone XS Max comes in at 2,688 x 1,242 resolution for 458 ppi.
