Since its beginning, the Surface Laptop has been touted by Microsoft as the Surface device that’s most primed for use by students. And with the debut of the Surface Laptop 3, there are a number of improvements students will appreciate. For the 13.5-inch model, the Surface Laptop 3 offers a touch screen with high resolution (2,256 x 1,504); a redesigned keyboard and 20-percent larger touchpad; up to 11.5 hours of battery life; and impressive portability, with a starting weight of 2.79 pounds (for the blue or silver models) and a thickness of 0.57 of an inch.
