In case you hadn't heard, getting a budget smartphone in 2019 doesn't mean settling for a "cheap" phone. Device makers including Google, Motorola and Samsung have all recently launched smartphones that feature impressive performance and design elements, even while offering affordable price tags. In the list that follows, just three of the smartphones are priced above $300. All of them having starting prices below $500. (Pricing reflects the current prices for unlocked versions on Walmart.com as of this writing, unless otherwise specified.)
