Despite summer break, August was ablaze with telecom-related news coming out of the government as the Federal Communications Commission closed its open comment period on its proposed Net Neutrality rollback. At the same time, the U.S. General Services Administration announced the 10 service providers that earned a spot on its coveted Enterprise Infrastructure contract. Meanwhile, public-sector telecom providers and master agents continued to churn out new offerings and build out their teams.
