A New Leaf

Global networking provider Open Systems has a new leader.

Originally based in Switzerland, Open Systems has enjoyed success in Europe for nearly 30 years. Now, the company is working on upping its presence in the U.S. Enter Jeff Brown. The veteran IT leader joined the company as its new CEO in September, filling the shoes of former CEO and founding partner of Open Systems, Martin Bosshardt.

Brown sat down with CRN to talk about his aggressive expansion plans for the company, why Open Systems is leaning hard on the channel to help it grow in the U.S., and what partners need to know about its security and As A Service-based solutions, in addition to its flagship SD-WAN offering.
