Tech Worker Average Salary: $93,320
Illinois lost 3,950 tech jobs (0.9 percent of the tech workforce) in 2020, the third most of any state. In 2021 the Prairie State is forecast to add 3,519 tech jobs for a 0.8 percent gain.
