Workforce Experience and Education Rank: 15

State Employment and Economy Rank: 9

Tech Industry Employment: 362,686

Tech Worker Average Salary: $91,920

Tech job postings in North Carolina increased just 3 percent between the first and second quarters of 2021, the smallest increase among all 50 states.
