Top 50 IT Employers During Q2 2020

The impacts of COVID-19 in the technology hiring and job market are on full display for the first time in Dice’s new Tech Job Report: Hiring Trends in the Time of COVID-19.

“Halfway through the year, the data suggests that, although the pandemic is far from over, companies are in a far better position to engage in long-term planning with a clear need for vital technologists,” said Dice in its second quarter 2020 report. “While employers in several industries -- including manufacturing, automotive, tourism and more -- experienced the effects early on, other industries, such as food and consumer goods, were immediately required to ensure their digital infrastructure and user experience were capable of meeting increased online demand.”

Interestingly, many of the top employers included in Dice’s Tech Job Report during the second quarter were large channel partners such as Capgemini, CGI, CDW, SAIC and Wipro, while several IT vendors like Infosys and Dell Technologies cracked into the top ten.

Dice is a leading database firm for IT employees, managing over 9 million profiles in the U.S.

CRN highlights the top technology companies that are most relevant to channel partners. Here‘s a sampling of the top 50 tech companies that employed the most people in the U.S. during the second quarter of 2020.
