Extended Detection And Response
Jeff Schmidt, CEO, Phoenix-based Avertium, No. 405 on the 2021 CRN Solution Provider 500
We are focused on our extended detection and response approach for our customers.
This addresses what we believe are major flaws in the industry. Our approach sets clear guidance on what good, better, and best look like using solid frameworks like NIST CSF. This sets the table for maturing and continuous improvement, along with evolution to address the threat landscape in an ever-changing world.
We then ensure that our customers have the right visibility and coverage to protect their assets with the right tools and automation for best efficiency.
Our Fusion Engine, which is key, is centered on bringing context to chaos, meaning, reduce the amount of noise and providing enrichment of a series of events that can attribute a true threat. The Fusion Engine eliminates the “cry wolf’ scenario and instead provides telemetry and situational awareness to our Cyber Fusion Analyst that provides meaningful and actionable information.
The last area this addresses is to provide reporting that is usable at both where the work gets done and also in the board room where security gets support and funding. We want our customers to have relevant data to ensure their needs are met across the organization.
