Crowded Marketplace Gets More Crowded
As security spending grows at an impressive rate, both traditional and emerging vendors are jumping into the fray. In a Morgan Stanley report launched April 9, analysts said they saw newer "pure play" vendors, such as Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet, pulling ahead of traditional networking vendors, such as Cisco, F5 Networks and Juniper. However, that doesn't mean networking vendors are completely out of the game, the report said, particularly mentioning Cisco and F5.
