Aiming To Be Bigger, Better And Badder Than Ever
Although the monster merger between cybersecurity giants Accuvant and FishNet Security is sucking up most of the oxygen, the deal will not derail the sensational growth both companies have been enjoying in recent years, according to Steve Perkins, chief marketing officer at Accuvant-FishNet.
Accuvant-FishNet, No. 26 on the 2015 CRN Solution Provider 500 list, is planning to add 400 jobs and aiming to grow its sales and profits by well more than 20 percent this year, Perkins told CRN. The company -- which will change its name to Optiv Security later this summer -- also said attrition is lower than it was prior to the announcement.
Perkins also discussed how Accuvant-FishNet sifted through more than 300 options to come up with its new logo.
