StorOne
New York-based StorOne develops software-defined storage technology that can be used for an all-flash or hybrid array, virtual storage, secondary storage, or cloud storage, and that supports all protocols including block, file and object storage. The company claims its software, which is available through distribution, offers 100-percent drive performance utilization with a cost of up to 80 percent less than that of existing high-performance storage arrays. It is targeted at primary and secondary storage uses, and depending on configuration can be used to meet clients' required performance and capacity mix.
