Robin.io Brings Stateful Workloads To GKE And Anthos

Robin.io, a San Jose, Calif.-based developer of what it calls a hyper-converged Kubernetes platform, used the conference to unveil a partnership with Google Cloud to bring storage and advanced data management capabilities to Google Cloud’s Anthos. Robin Storage is a purpose-built container-native storage offering that provides advanced Kubernetes data management capabilities including automated provisioning, point-in-time snapshots, backup and recovery, application cloning, quality of service guarantee, and multi-cloud migration. Robin Storage delivers bare-metal performance to support running enterprise workloads without having to re-architect them as cloud-native applications. It extends Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) to run any stateful enterprise application including big data, databases, and artificial intelligence and machine learning.
