The New Generation Of Storage Companies 

The global datasphere, the total amount of digital data in data centers, cloud systems, endpoint devices like laptops and smartphones, and other sources is expected to reach 175 zettabytes by 2025, according to market researcher IDC. Put another way, that’s 175 trillion gigabytes.

That creates challenges for IT managers who have to figure how and where to store all that accumulating data and do it in the most secure and most cost-effective way.

That’s driving the demand for innovative technologies and services in storage management software, flash memory, NVMe hardware, and backup and recovery tools – often from startup companies.
