Instabeat
The Instabeat is a wearable that straps onto swimming googles to provide real-time visual feedback for swim training. The $249 device comes with a heart rate display that shows users a blue light for low effort, green light for medium effort and red light for maximum performance, allowing users to adjust their workout on the go. The wearable syncs with a smartphone app that measures lap time, pace, distance, stroke type and workout intervals. It also measures heart rate against laps and strokes.
