Aurora Endpoint Security: A Game Changer In Cyber Defense

In an era where cyber threats are escalating and organizations are grappling with securing endpoints on tight budgets; Arctic Wolf has introduced a groundbreaking solution: Aurora Endpoint Security. This innovative offering leverages advanced AI and the robust Aurora platform, creating new opportunities for partners to deliver unparalleled value. In an exclusive interview with CRNtv, Arctic Wolf's CEO and President, Nick Scheider, shares insights into the platform's impact and future vision.

Why did you decide to get into the endpoint space and what makes this solution stand out in a crowded market?

Nick Scheider: Endpoint security is a fast and wildly growing market. It is also one of the most critical investments that a cybersecurity operator can make. Most tools in the marketplace are overly complex, noisy, require constant tuning, or fail to deliver the outcomes customers truly expect. Most of the investigations that we do here at Arctic Wolf involve endpoint telemetry. I think it's over percent. By integrating the Arctic Wolf platform with our new endpoint solution, we aim to deliver the security outcomes customers have been seeking for a long time.

How does the Arctic Wolf Aurora platform create unique opportunities to help partners drive customer value?

Nick Scheider: We built this platform from the ground up with an incredible amount of scale across our customer base. We've built it intentionally to be open, now with over 200 tool integrations. This openness allows Arctic Wolf to leverage both native tools and third-party tools that customers might already have in their environment. Partners can cooperate with Arctic Wolf via our tools and telemetry, but also other products or services they might wrap around the Arctic Wolf platform. This combination provides a robust solution that delivers the best possible outcomes for customers.

AI is reshaping the cybersecurity landscape. How is Arctic Wolf using AI across the Aurora platform? And what does that mean for partners and their customers?

Nick Scheider: Threats, alerts, new techniques are evolving every day. We've done a ton of work with our Alpha AI to ensure we're powering our platform to provide real-world intelligence in real-time to our customers. The platform ingests trillions of observations weekly, reducing this data to one or two actionable tickets or events per week per customer. As you provide less noise, you get faster response, higher efficacy, and can focus your teams on things that are more important or critical to the business.

What's your vision for where Arctic Wolf's Aurora platform is heading? How are you enabling partners to grow alongside that journey?

Nick Scheider: Our goal is to be the security platform of record and the leader in security operations. For us, that means delivering what you'd expect of a world-class SOC via a centralized platform. We'll continue this mission by making existing modules more robust and delivering additional outcomes that customers are looking for. We'll never force lock-in, but we'll ensure we're easy to do business with as we enter into new accounts. This approach allows partners to work in an agnostic way with their customer base, ensuring the best possible outcomes on a comprehensive security operations platform.
