At XChange March, Os Haque, vice president of product for hyperautomation at ConnectWise, shared how managed service providers can boost efficiency and profitability by embracing AI and automation. Haque introduced ConnectWise’s AI and Automation Maturity Model and emphasized the need for MSPs to adopt “digital workers” that offload repetitive tasks such as user onboarding and offboarding. This helps free up time and reduce operational costs, delivering what Haque described as a clear return on automation (ROA) and faster time-to-value.

Haque highlighted how Arkansas-based MSP Quadrivium saved more than 500 hours and $15,000 in just 90 days after implementing ConnectWise’s hyperautomation tools. That number is expected to reach $48,000 in annual savings. He encouraged MSPs to assess their automation readiness and consider where they fall on the adoption curve—from beginner to expert. “Hyperautomation represents one of the biggest opportunities for MSPs,” said Haque, pointing to increased productivity and margin growth as key business outcomes.
