Driving Partner Growth Through Microsoft’s Unified Marketplace
Microsoft has launched a unified marketplace that merges Azure Marketplace and AppSource, creating a single destination for discovering, buying and deploying AI apps and agents. The move is designed to simplify the customer experience and empower solution providers to scale their offerings globally.
Cyril Belikoff, VP of commercial cloud at Microsoft, joined Andrea Medeiros, VP of The Content Studio, for an exclusive interview with CRNtv to discuss the implications for the channel. “We effectively re-imagined the customer experience that seamlessly combines complete industry solutions with this new category of AI apps and agents,” Belikoff said.
The new marketplace integrates directly into Microsoft 365, Teams and Azure AI Foundry, allowing partners to surface their solutions within the flow of work. “We also surface contextual relevant cloud solutions, AI apps and agents built by our partners directly within Microsoft products,” Belikoff explained.
For solution providers, the marketplace offers faster time to delivery and broader reach. “This further emphasizes our commitment that the marketplace is the center of gravity to scale your growth,” Belikoff said. With five major channel partners, Arrow, Crayon, Ingram Micro, Pax8 and TD SYNNEX, already federating the marketplace, resellers can now bundle Microsoft solutions with their own services.
Belikoff emphasized the opportunity: “The world is changing, the Microsoft marketplace is built to adapt to empower customers to buy where they want to buy, and partners sell how they want to sell.”
