From AI Hype To Autonomous IT: How MSPs Turn Expectations Into Margins

Demand for AI support is growing rapidly as customers turn to MSPs to help them embrace artificial intelligence across their organization. But this raises the question: How can solution providers capitalize on AI opportunities without overburdening already stretched teams?

At XChange August, Miles Walker, channel development manager for Kaseya, said combining AI-driven automation, cybersecurity and operational efficiency is the path to scale and profitability for MSPs.

During his keynote, Walker said AI has become central to Kaseya’s product strategy, noting that “everything moving forward will have an AI component in it.” He positioned AI-powered autonomous IT as a way for partners to improve service delivery while addressing technician shortages, burnout and shifting customer expectations around cyber risk.

Cybersecurity is a major driver of opportunity and urgency for solution providers, Walker said, with the cost of cybercrime expected to climb to $13.8 trillion globally by the end of 2027. “These numbers are scary,” Walker said. “These are numbers you need to be sharing with the clients you manage.”

Kaseya is supporting MSPs with innovations and investments across the Kaseya365 platform, including AI-enabled operations, security services and automation capabilities that streamline service delivery. Kaseya’s goal is to improve partner experiences and business results.

Walker said Kaseya is improving partner profitability through marketing support, peer collaboration and IT stack optimization. According to Walker, “Some of our partners see a 20 to 40 percent increase just from this one program when it comes to revenue and profits.”

For MSPs guiding clients beyond AI experimentation, Walker said Kaseya leads the way in operational efficiency, cybersecurity and automation that transforms customer demand into margin growth.
