How Google Cloud Marketplace Helps Partners Scale Growth
As artificial intelligence reshapes the cloud landscape, solution providers are looking for smarter ways to scale. In an exclusive interview with CRNtv, Rachel Bradshaw, Channel Strategic Initiatives Lead at Google Cloud Marketplace, explained how the marketplace is evolving into a strategic growth engine for partners.
“Cloud marketplaces are no longer just a buying platform, they're a growth engine,” Bradshaw said. With thousands of validated solutions across more than 50 categories, including AI agents, Google Cloud Marketplace is helping ISVs, channel partners, GSIs, and MSPs co-sell with precision. “Co-selling isn't just about getting to market, it's about going to market together,” she added.
Bradshaw emphasized the importance of simplified procurement and aligning with customer buying preferences: “We meet the customer where they want to be and how they want to buy.”
Recent data from a commissioned study revealed that ISVs increased deal sizes by 112 percent, closed deals 50 percent faster, and saw a 14 percent improvement in customer retention. “Partners saw a 14 percent improvement in customer retention in that study,” Bradshaw noted.
One standout innovation is Marketplace Channel Private Offers, which allows partners to manage billing, own top-line revenue, and maintain control of customer relationships. “This is real measurable impact,” Bradshaw concluded.
