How Schneider Electric's Partner Program And Power Infrastructure Assessment Drive New Opportunities

Schneider Electric has introduced significant updates to its partner program, aimed at helping solution providers simplify engagement, accelerate growth and uncover new business opportunities. In a recent CRNtv webinar, Jon LoBello, director of IT channel program strategy, and Larry Hann, regional director of channel field sales North America, outlined how the changes are already delivering measurable results.

“We didn’t need to rebuild the house. We just needed to flip the lights on,” LoBello said. The updated program is built around three pillars: simplicity, transparency and consistency. Partners now benefit from clearer revenue benchmarks, streamlined deal registration and more predictable communications across Schneider’s channel ecosystem.

A key addition is the Power Infrastructure Assessment tool, which enables partners to deliver consultative value by identifying vulnerabilities, warranty gaps and refresh opportunities in customer environments. “We’re trying to leverage this rich data…and enable our partners to drive a business outcome with their customers,” Hann said.

The tool has already shown results. “Our deal reg with that partner is up 37 percent, and the size of those deals is up by 95 percent,” Hann said.

Schneider also introduced new financial incentives, including performance rebates and software discounts, to reward partner engagement. “We’re enabling them to think differently and act differently with their customers,” Hann said.
