How ServiceNow Empowers ISVs With Native AI
As AI strategies mature, independent software vendors (ISVs) are seeking faster, safer ways to deliver differentiated value. In an exclusive interview with CRNtv, Alix Douglas, group vice president of global technology partnerships at ServiceNow, shared how the company is helping ISVs innovate with native AI, build industry-specific solutions and scale with hyperscaler support.
“The best place for partners to start is to build on what’s native,” Douglas said. “Our AI agent technology delivers enterprise-grade AI that’s secure, governed and built into our workflow. Partners get to market faster, and customers trust the results immediately.”
ServiceNow’s approach enables partners to focus on innovation rather than infrastructure. “The platform takes care of governance, security and performance so partners can stay focused on customer outcomes, not infrastructure,” Douglas explained. She emphasized that partners can differentiate by adding their own unique IP, including data sets, industry-specific models and workflow expertise, all supported by free access to ServiceNow’s AI agent functionality and development tooling.
Looking ahead, ServiceNow is evolving its build program to better support modern ISVs. “We’re reimagining the build program for 2026 to fit the modern ISV persona,” Douglas said. “A brand-new, free-to-join open developer ecosystem tier, faster onboarding, clearer benefits and a direct link between a partner’s investment and their growth opportunity.”
The ServiceNow Store is also being rebuilt as an innovation marketplace, with curated collections and industry filters to help customers find trusted, governed solutions faster.
“Every motion we run will be outcome driven,” Douglas added. “ROI metrics and adoption plays will be embedded so customers can measure value immediately.”
As customers shift from pilot projects to enterprise-scale AI adoption, scalability, governance and ROI visibility are top priorities. “We’re moving from a majority co-sell model to a co-innovation model, building joint reference solutions that solve the hardest problems: cross-cloud orchestration, secure data access, cost optimization and model lifecycle management,” Douglas said.
“Customers get the fastest, safest path to enterprise-scale AI, and our partners grow alongside them, backed by hyperscaler co-sell motions and incentive alignment.”
