Huntress Unveils Free Internal Use For MSPs, Revamped ITDR

With MSPs increasingly overwhelmed by noisy security tools and false positives, Huntress is stepping in with a platform purpose-built to reduce alert fatigue and improve operational efficiency, now free for internal use through its Neighborhood Watch program.

The announcement was made at XChange Denver, where Jeremy Young, community growth strategist at Huntress, urged solution providers to deploy the platform internally. “I want you to know Huntress is free for internal use for MSPs,” Young said.

Young emphasized the company’s evolution from a misunderstood incident response firm to a security platform with four standalone products. “Our founders are still here. They’re still obsessed with the product. They’re still obsessed with making our partners the heroes and obsessed with shutting down hackers,” he said.

Huntress also unveiled major updates to its ITDR offering, including identity disablement and re-enablement for Active Directory synced identities. “This is a game changer,” Young said.

The platform screens out 95 percent of initial findings as noise, alerting teams only to validated threats. “MSP profitability comes down to operational efficiency,” said Young.
