N-able CEO John Pagliuca Urges Solution Providers to Prioritize Cyber Resilience
At XChange Best of Breed 2025, N-able CEO John Pagliuca delivered a keynote that resonated with solution providers navigating the evolving cybersecurity landscape.
With over 25,000 MSPs and 600,000 small to medium enterprises relying on N-able, Pagliuca positioned the company as a critical partner in delivering end-to-end security and IT operations. “N-able’s strategy really is to look at helping these mid-market companies and channel partners before, during, and after an attack to really provide cyber resiliency,” he said.
A highlight of the keynote was N-able’s acquisition of Adlumin, a DC-based MDR provider. Pagliuca explained, “With that MDR offering, we can offset the need for them to have any staffing for when it comes to dealing with any sort of threat intelligence or any sort of issues whatsoever.” This move strengthens N-able’s ability to automate threat detection and response, reducing the burden on MSPs.
Pagliuca also discussed his “triangle” framework for solution providers: standardization, automation, and augmentation. “You can't automate unless you standardize, by definition,” he noted, underscoring the importance of a unified tech stack.
For solution providers, Pagliuca’s message was clear: focus on business outcomes, not just software features. “It’s that capital R, which is the remediation,” he said, “where we'll take you to a full remediated standpoint and let you know what actions we took.”
