Pax8 CEO Scott Chasin Urges Solution Providers To Embrace The Rise Of Managed Intelligence

XChange August 2025 continued to be dominated by conversations around AI, with Pax8’s keynote presentation being no exception. CEO Scott Chasin spoke about the future of the MSP, with those who act now leading the next wave of innovation as, what Pax8 is calling, “managed intelligence providers” or MIP.

“The world is tilting. The old systems are cracking,” Chasin said. He described a rapidly emerging economy where “ideas execute themselves,” powered by autonomous agents capable of running workflows, solving problems and even writing code at scale.

Chasin outlined a four-level progression of AI maturity, starting with chatbots and culminating in swarms of intelligent agents. “Microsoft…recently announced that 30 percent of their code is written by AI agents,” he noted, adding that by the end of 2025, “90 percent of all code will be written by agents.”

For solution providers, this shift represents both a challenge and an opportunity. Chasin’s concept of an MIP describes a new role for channel partners who build, deploy and manage intelligent agents. “Partners will become agentic factories,” he said. “Every business will need to evolve. Not just to keep up with AI, but to harness it.”

Chasin closed with a warning to the IT Channel and a challenge. “Do you wait to be disrupted? Or do you become the ones who do the disrupting?”
