“When you think about cabinet making, it really revolves around precision craftsmanship,” he explained. “You learn very quickly to measure things twice and cut once and pay attention to details, even if nobody else is going to see them.” That mindset now informs how he leads and builds foundations for growth.

For solution providers, this philosophy translates into a renewed focus on platform thinking, where the partner experience is central to every decision. Culture also plays a pivotal role. “We very much operate like a small company, like a small family-run organization,” he said. “Making those relationships outside of the office helps to strengthen when you're back in the office.”
