Postman’s Channel Strategy Targets API Modernization And Partner Growth
Postman showed up strong for AWS’ re:Invent 2025, where they doubled down on their channel strategy to help partners capitalize on the growing demand for API modernization. Matthew Gray, head of channels at Postman, said the company’s program will “embrace the greatest parts of technology and…impact our channel community at a much faster pace than ever before.”
Postman is an API developer platform trusted by more than 40 million users and 98 percent of the Fortune 500. The company has taken strides to position its platform as a critical tool for solution providers navigating complex API environments. “Whenever I think about what developers are trying to do, they need to be able to rely on a platform that they trust,” Gray explained. Postman’s integration with AWS services, including API Gateway and Lambda, offers partners a unified approach to governance and modernization.
Gray emphasized the strategic role of partners in scaling Postman’s reach, that “the channel is the person in the room” enabling large scale growth. With AI and APIs at the center of enterprise data strategies, Postman sees an opportunity for partners to deliver high-value services. “Postman’s footprint really can give our partner ecosystem an opportunity to build a way to differentiate and to build high-value services around this need,” Gray said.
As demand signals surge, Postman’s channel program aims to connect global system integrators and leverage agentic capabilities to accelerate modernization.
