Schneider Electric On Using AI And Software To Drive Channel Growth
For solution providers, Schneider Electric’s Innovation Summit delivered a wake-up call: the next wave of opportunity lies in software-led services and AI readiness. The event in Las Vegas highlighted how partners can move beyond hardware and embrace strategies that position them for long-term growth.
“What really excites me is most of our partners are familiar with us from a product brand, APC, American Power Conversion,” said Gordon Lord, vice president of U.S. Channels at Schneider Electric. “And what we’re really here to talk about is really to represent the larger opportunity that they have with Schneider Electric.”
That opportunity, Lord explained, is being driven by the rapid evolution of AI and its move to the edge. “It’s certainly moving at a fast pace, that’s for sure. And I think we’re all learning,” he said. “For us, it’s really the education and the enablement with our partners because this is not something that any partner or vendor can do on their own. This is something that truly needs to be collaborative.”
Schneider Electric is urging partners to lead with software, services and assessments. This approach opens doors to modernization in data centers, buildings, and edge environments. “If we lead with software and services, we’re going to be able to add a lot of value to our end customers,” Lord noted.
For channel leaders, the takeaway is clear: those who embrace software-driven models and joint enablement will be best positioned to deliver business outcomes in the AI era.
