The Enterprise Move To Accelerated Infrastructure With NVIDIA

Enterprise IT leaders are reaching an inflection point as data growth, AI-driven workloads and rising operational costs expose the limits of traditional CPU-only infrastructure. For solution providers, those pressures are showing up in customer conversations as stalled performance, higher power and cooling expenses, and growing concern about falling behind competitors.

According to Anthony Larijani, senior product marketing manager at NVIDIA, multiple forces are converging at once. “Every enterprise is really generating exponentially more data than ever before, through multiple data sources. Trying to make sense and organize it all is a huge strain on CPU infrastructure,” Larijani said. At the same time, enterprises are under pressure to adopt AI capabilities that legacy computing models were never designed to support.

The result, Larijani said, is a growing performance and cost gap. “CPU infrastructure cannot keep pace anymore, and it’s becoming more costly and inefficient to run these new types of AI workloads,” he said. Customers are feeling that strain through longer time to insight, difficulty scaling environments, and rising management overhead tied to expanding CPU footprints.

NVIDIA is positioning GPU-accelerated computing as a practical transition path rather than a disruptive rip-and-replace. NIVIDIA’s RTX Pro data center portfolio delivered by TD SYNNEX integrates into familiar enterprise systems while accelerating existing applications and preparing environments for AI-ready workloads. “Accelerated computing is no longer a niche technology,” Larijani said. “Every organization you work with will need accelerated infrastructure to run more workloads.”

For channel partners, the shift creates a clear services-led opportunity. By starting with workload assessments and mapping business constraints to infrastructure decisions, partners can help customers modernize without increasing risk. As enterprises weigh when and how to move beyond CPU-only environments, partners that offer strategic guidance around accelerated computing are positioned to deepen customer relationships and capture long-term value.
