Managed service providers are under pressure to grow margins, win new clients and streamline operations. Speaking at XChange Denver, Miles Walker, channel development manager at Kaseya, unveiled a multi-pronged strategy aimed at helping MSPs scale smarter and more profitably.
Walker, who joined Kaseya in 2020 and began his career in radio, shared his journey from a small fishing village in Cornwall to becoming “the face of phishing.” “I left because they did not want me to become a fisherman,” he said. “Now I get to travel all around the world talking about the latest phishing attack.”
Kaseya’s Profit Playbook highlights top MSP pain points, including client acquisition. “Forty-three percent say issues MSPs are facing are acquiring new clients,” Walker said. To help, Kaseya offers tools like Dark Web ID scans and complimentary pen tests to demonstrate value to prospects.
The company is hiring 200 developers and embedding AI across its portfolio. “Every solution that we have under our umbrella will have a big AI focus to make your life easier,” Walker said.
With new offerings like Kaseya 365 and OpsNow, partners can save up to 77 percent in operational costs. “Over the past year and a half, we've saved partners $800 million and put that additional MSP profit into pockets,” Walker said.
