As the threat landscape evolves, IT and security professionals struggle to manage the risks to their data and resources. Dell EMC PowerEdge servers feature an enhanced Cyber Resilient Architecture designed to Protect, Detect and Recover from cyberattacks.

“It’s really a blueprint for how we design our servers, to ensure that we have proper security at the core of where your applications and data live. There’s three primary tenets of our PowerEdge brand Proactive Resilience, kind of says it in its name, about security and your Innovation Engine is one of those three primary tenets. Cyber Resilient Architecture is how do we bring that promise to life,” says Allen Clingerman, chief technology strategist, Server+Workloads, North America channels for Dell Technologies.

Embedded within every Dell EMC PowerEdge server is the Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller, also known as iDRAC. It provides secure local and remote server management and helps IT administrators deploy, update and monitor servers anywhere, anytime.

“Ensuring that security baseline is maintained, being able to maintain it on a regular basis, and that I’ve driven my standard across my entire server fleet. So, if I have a security vulnerability that I need to go patch and remediate for, I can make sure to create a new security baseline and deploy it in an automated fashion across my entire fleet of PowerEdge servers,” says Clingerman.

Microsoft Windows Server 2022 for Dell EMC PowerEdge Servers offers another layer of security. The Windows operating system, along with PowerEdge compute platforms, enable all the latest operating system and application features.

“And then we think about that combined with technologies like AMD’s brought to market with Secure Encrypted Virtualization. And hypervisor-based code integrity, which goes hand in hand with new technologies,” says Clingerman.
